FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you offer free estimates?+

Yes. We provide free, no-pressure on-site estimates across Maryland and the DC metro. We tour your space, talk through your goals, and follow up with a detailed written proposal - no obligation to move forward.

How long does a typical kitchen remodel take?+

Most full kitchen remodels run 4–8 weeks on-site, depending on cabinetry lead times, structural work, and material selections. We share a detailed schedule with milestones before construction begins, and update you weekly throughout.

Are you licensed and insured?+

Fully licensed and insured in Maryland, and accredited with the BBB. All permits, inspections and code certifications are handled by our team - you'll never have to chase a permit office.

What does your warranty cover?+

Every project carries a written labor warranty ranging from 5 to 20 years on qualifying projects, depending on the type of project and service performed - in addition to the manufacturer warranties on cabinets, countertops, appliances, fixtures and finishes.

How do payments and deposits work?+

A one-third (1/3) deposit secures your build date and locks in materials pricing. Remaining payments are tied to clearly defined construction milestones - not arbitrary dates. You'll always know exactly what's been completed before paying.

Which areas do you serve?+

We serve Silver Spring, Bethesda, Rockville, Potomac, Gaithersburg, Germantown, Columbia, Ellicott City, Laurel, Bowie, Arlington, Alexandria, Washington DC and the wider Montgomery County region.

Do you help with design and material selection?+

Yes. We guide you through layout decisions, cabinetry, countertops, tile, lighting and fixtures - and partner with trusted local showrooms so you can see and touch materials before they're ordered.

Will my project pass code inspection?+

Every project is built to current MD/DC code and finishes with a formal code certification. Plumbing, electrical, framing and egress work is handled by licensed trades and inspected at each required stage.

How do you protect my home during construction?+

We mask off work zones with floor-to-ceiling dust barriers, protect floors and adjacent rooms, and clean the site at the end of every workday. End-of-project deep cleaning is included before walkthrough.

What's the best way to get started?+

Send us a quick lead form or call us directly. We respond same-day, every day except Sunday, and can usually schedule your on-site consultation within the same week.
